Second Saturday Public Openings

In cooperation with our partner sites in Historic Germantown, our site will be open on the second Saturday of each month, from May through October, from noon-4pm. Guided and self-guided tours are available, and no appointment is necessary.

Admission: Free, but the suggested donation is $5 for adults, $3 for children.

Admission: Free to the public during these public events. We do request donations so that we can continue to host them. Guided and self-guided tours will be available.

Memorial Day

Historic Germantown Juneteenth Celebration

Date: Saturday, June 15, 2019

Time: Site open noon-4:00pm. Admission free.

1pm and 3pm: Special performance: The Slave Narratives. More information.

Fourth of July Celebration and Bell-ringing

Date: Thursday, July 4, 2019

Time: Site open 11am-4:00pm

2pm. Special performance: Bell-ringing, followed by The Poetry of Freedom, featuring local poets. More information.

Admission free.

Back to School at the Old Schoolhouse

Date: Saturday, August 17, 2019

Time: Site open 10:00am-noon
